Krawietz and Friedsam capture German Junior titles |

 The organizers of the Air Berlin German Juniors must have been delighted with the winners of their tournament. In the boys tournament 2nd seed Kevin Krawietz continued his Wimbledon Junior doubles success by hoisting another trophy after defeating compatriot Richard Becker. In the girls tournament 4th seed Anna Lena Friedsam continued her quick rise up the rankings with her first Grade 1 title by defeating another young prodigy in Russian Yulia Putintseva.

Top seeds crash out of German Juniors |

Only 2 steps away from the title top seeds Alexandros Ferdinandos Georgoudas and Irina Khromacheva tumbled out of the tournament. Georgoudas was defeated by 3rd seeded compatriot Richard Becker and Khromacheva was outplayed by 7th seeded Belarusian Yulia Putintseva. |

Germans rule German Juniors |

The likelihood of the locals rejoicing in the victory of a fellow countryman is considerable in the boys tournament of the German Juniors with 3 out of the 4 boys semifinalists being German. Top seeds Georgoudas and Krawietz were joined in the semifinals by 3rd seed Richard Becker. 15th seed Raymond Sarmiento is the only remaining hope for the USA.
