Friday, 04 July 2008
In the final of the Junior Wimbledon tournament 14-year old Laura Robson will be looking to become the first British Junior champion at Wimbledon since Annabel Croft won it in 1984. In the final Robson will be facing another surprising finalist in 3rd seed Noppawan Lertcheewakarn, who will be looking to go one better than her illustrious compatriot Tamarine Tanasugarn. The boys final will be a contest between surprising finalist Henri Kontinen and 9th seed Grigor Dimitrov. The upsets of the day came at the expense of girls 2nd seed Arantxa Rus and boys 3rd seed Cesar Ramirez.
