Berta and Mladenovic capture Roland Garros titlesSwede Daniel Berta finished off his amazing Roland Garros Junior tournament with the perfect ending: the title. The 16-year old Swede defeated French hope Gianni Mina in three sets to become the first Swede since Kent Carlsson in 1984 to win the Roland Garros Junior title. The girls title could not have pleased the French crowds more, as 9th seed Kristina Mladenovic made light work of Russian youngster Daria Gavrilova.

French players please home crowdsThe last remaining French players in the girls and boys draw of Roland Garros could not have pleased their fellow countrymen more than by booking a place in the final. 11th seed Gianni Mina defeated 14th seed Dominik Schulz to reach the boys final and 9th seed Kristina Mladenovic defeated 15th seeded American Sloane Stephens. In the boys final Mina takes on Swede Daniel Berta and Mladenovic is up against Russian Daria Gavrilova, who upset 3rd seed Ksenia Pervak.

Collarini sent homeThe highest remaining seed in the boys tournament, 3rd seeded Argentinian Andrea Collarini, was sent home by the only remaining French hope in the boys tournament, 11th seed Gianni Mina. Mina came back from a 6-1 first set loss to take the second and third set 6-2 6-3. Mina is now the highest remaining seed in the tournament and will face German 14th seed Dominik Schulz, who only just outlasted Brazilian Guilherme Clezar 6-4 in the third set.
