The highest seeded player now remaining in the girls tournament is 6th seed Victoriya Kamenskaya, who play against 9th seed Beatrice Gumulya. The home crowds are already guaranteed at least one countrywoman in the final, with Lauren Embree and Jacqueline Cako facing off for a chance for a first Grade 1-title.

In the boys tournament there’s even a chance for an all-American final, with single representatives in each semifinal. First unseeded Ryan Lipman has to defeat 3rd seeded Bosnian Mirza Basic and 14th seed James Seal has to win against 11th seed Hiroyasu Ehara of Japan. Ehara will have a mental advantage over Seal, having beaten the American in last week’s US Open.
