Pliskova twins take out top seeds

Daria Gavrilova fell short against Karolina PliskovaA final between twin sisters Kristyna and Karolina Pliskova still remains on the cards with both girls reaching the semifinals. Kristyna managed to defeat top seed Timea Babos, whereas Karolina defeated 3rd seeded Russian Daria Gavrilova. British phenomenon Laura Robson and Chinese Hao Chen Tang are now the only remaing threats to a "sister act" final. Robson easily crushed the hopes of American Ester Goldfeld, while Tang just edged 5th seeded Croatian Silvia Njiric.
 
In the boys tournament only one local hope remains in converted Australian Sean Berman. Berman easily defeated 10th seed Guilherme Clezar and now faces 6th seeded Hungarian Marton Fucsovics, who crushed Traralgon runner up Benjamin Mitchell. 2nd seed Gianni Mina continued quietly making his way through the draw and faces 14th seeded Brazilian Tiago Fernandes.
